Go to your Google Maps Timeline and find the day you want to export. Click on it, and you should now see your route highlighted along with any stops you made. Now click on the gear icon on the bottom of your map, and click on "Export this present day to KML." Go to your My Map and on a brand new layer, click on "Import."
