8 XTi, 12 XTi 입니다.

The 12XTi passive cabinet is the mid sized coaxial model of the L ACOUSTICS® Architectural Series and operates on a frequency bandwidth of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. This response can be lowered to 32 Hz with the addition of the SB118 subwoofer.

The 12XTi enclosure contains a 3’’ diaphragm compression driver coaxially loaded (for HF directivity control) by a 12’’ low frequency transducer in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure. The internal passive crossover network uses proprietary third order filters. The linearization and protection of the transducers is defined by the drive parameters contained in the amplified controllers.

The coaxial transducer arrangement produces a 90° axi-symmetric directivity output along with a smooth tonal response free of any secondary lobes over the entire frequency range.

The wedge-shaped and streamlined cabinetry, its rigging and colour options make the 12XTi suited to the permanent installation applications where visual constraints require a discreet integration and colour-matching according to architect specifications.

Made of high grade Baltic birch plywood, the cabinet features 4 M8 inserts for Omnimount® 120.0 series fixtures and can be either mounted with the complementary pole-mount socket EMBi or the ETR12XTi bracket for flown applications.

The 12XTi is driven by the L-ACOUSTICS® amplified controllers in the following passive modes:

■‘‘FULL RANGE’’ mode for standalone use of 12XTi at nominal bandwidth ([12XTP_FR], [12XTP_FI] or [12XTP_MO] presets)
■‘‘HIGH-PASS’’ mode with 100 Hz high-pass filter to possibly associate the complimentary SB118 subwoofer (same presets as above with ‘‘_100’’ extension)
■‘‘HYBRID’’ mode for hybrid configuration featuring the complimentary SB118 subwoofer ([12XTP_SB118] preset).
For each mode a distinction is drawn between [FRONT], [FILL] and [MONITOR] presets as they respectively match front of house, distributed applications and half-space loading operating conditions. The performances of the 12XTi enclosure depend upon the choice of preset and physical system configuration.

The L-ACOUSTICS 8XTi and 12 XTi coaxial enclosures are primarily engineered for the fixed installation market. Taking on the electro-acoustic design of the established XT series, the 8XTi and 12XTi feature a streamlined cabinetry and discrete rigging which can be colour-matched according to architect specifications. The XTi series can be acoustically and mechanically modelled using the proprietary SOUNDVISION 3D simulation software or with the EASE?/CATT? data for acoustic design consultants. The XTi series bring cost-effectiveness and flexibility for installation projects thanks to a rationalized production and the implementation of the hybrid and flat presets in the new LA-Network Manager 1.2.

The XTi series point-source technology is suited to distributed applications in semi-reverberant spaces where a single reflected source offers a more coherent radiation field with less reflected virtual sources than a dual horn-woofer combination. Point-source systems are also adapted to proximity applications such as stage monitoring, front-fills and under-balcony fills. The result is natural, studio monitor sound quality and the aural sensation of transparent sound.

The 8XTi and 12 XTi are available as plug and play solutions with LA4 and LA8 amplified controllers. These come with a complete set of dedicated preset libraries, providing the sound designer with total creative freedom for any conceivable application in theatres, clubs, concert halls, broadcast and multipurpose facilities for FOH, fill and monitor modes. The integrated package offers contractors a high amplifier density, high efficiency for lower power consumption and less heat, and a fast and easy set-up. Finally it ensures performance consistency, predictability and the best possible component protection.

Additionally, the LA4/8 makes the design of complex and sophisticated control systems possible with the integration of an Ethernet-based network capability which allows for the simultaneous networking of up to 253 units. The L-ACOUSTICS? LA NETWORK MANAGER software offers real-time remote control and monitoring of the amplified controllers via a user-friendly and intuitive graphic interface.
